A Special Splashpad for the City of Wewoka

The small town of Wewoka came together to create a Splashpad and park dedicated to the memory of Lane Azlin, a young boy who was taken far too early but left behind a memory of joy and happiness.  Since he loved the water so much, the Citizens Improvement League of Wewoka, the City of Wewoka and the family of Lane decided to build a Splashpad in remembrance. The Splashpad consists of numerous things Lane enjoyed such as turtles, fish, a bullfrog, flowers and a number of animal themed water cannons and a cool motorcycle. This Splashpad brings the community together with a perfect spot to cool down in the hot summer and to honor a young boy who will never be forgotten.  Site amenities included Shades, Tables, Benches and Trash Receptacles.
